A night of conversation with Palestinian journalist Ali Al-Arian and Israeli writer, Miko Peled.
Ali Al-Arian spent five years as a journalist at Al Jazeera English, after graduating from the University of Chicago where he specialized in Middle Eastern History. At Al Jazeera, he was part of the award-winning team that worked on Palestine Remix, a project that uses interactive technology to tell the story of modern Palestine. He also helped found Al Jazeera’s Middle East focus webpage, where he commissioned, edited, and wrote articles. Since leaving Al Jazeera, he has been working on a documentary film about the global BDS Movement for Palestinian Rights, featuring prominent scholars, artists, and activists.
Miko Peled is an Israeli-American activist, author, and karate instructor. He is author of the books The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine and Injustice: The Story of the Holy Land Foundation Five. He is also an international speaker.
