Support Fourth Annual International Al-Awda Convention
July 14 -16, 2006

Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, and the General Union of Palestinian Students at San Francisco State University are pleased to announce that they will be holding the fourth international Al-Awda convention in San Francisco on July 14 -16, 2006. The primary objective of the convention will be to continue with the development of proactive agenda and campaigns to achieve Palestinian inalienable rights, in particular the rights of the refugees to return to their original towns and villages in occupied Palestine.

In the past year, we have seen a significant leap forward in active participation in the Right to Return movement from our Palestinian and Arab communities, the building of our youth groups among other successful efforts including with media and film. Our upcoming convention will seek to develop and strengthen these and other efforts while aiming to further advance participation.

Al-Awda San Francisco members, the General Union of Palestinian Students and supporters have already made significant progress in preparation for the convention. However, to achieve our goals, we also need your support:

To help us with convention-associated costs such as venue, speaker travel and accommodation, mobilization, advertising, student participation etc., we welcome individual and organizational sponsorship of Al-Awda's fourth annual international convention as follows:
